Option A: The Hemis National Park Hybrid (6 Days)

A high-intensity loop through the Hemis National Park, transitioning from pedals to boots to paddles.

Day 01: Arrival in Leh (3,500m) Transfer to hotel. The first day is strictly for physiological adaptation. A complete day rest.

Day 02: Active Acclimatization A slow-paced hike to the Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. This helps lung expansion and offers a panoramic view of the Stok Range we will be skirting. Afternoon at leisure in Leh Market.

Day 03: Cycling to Yurutse (4,150m) Distance: 25km | Terrain: Tarmac & Off-road Trails. We start our ride from Leh, pedaling toward Spituk and then veering into the Zingchen Valley. The trail enters the Hemis National Park, a sanctuary for the Snow Leopard. We end the ride at the quiet hamlet of Yurutse.

Day 04: Hike to Shingo via Ganda La (4,970m) Duration: 6-7 Hours | Distance: 12km. Bikes are swapped for trekking boots. A steady climb leads to the Ganda La Pass, offering 360-degree views of the Zanskar Range. We descend into the beautiful pasturelands of Shingo.

Day 05: Hike to Skyu (3,400m) Duration, Car to Chilling & Rafting to Nymo Rafting Distance: 28km: The trail follows a dramatic, narrow gorge with towering ochre-colored cliffs. We reach Skyu, a village sitting at the confluence of the Markha River and the Shingo stream.  A short 4 wheeler transfer takes us to Chilling. Here, we transition to water. Navigate the “Grand Canyon of Asia” on the Zanskar River. The expedition concludes at the Indus-Zanskar confluence (Sangam). Drive back to Leh.

Day 6: Fly Back Out of Leh/Departure

Option B: The Hidden Villages Traverse (10 Days)

The ultimate endurance loop through the remote Wanla and Sumdha regions.

Day 01: Arrival & Acclimatization Two full days in Leh for mandatory rest and local orientation.

Day 02: Active Acclimatization A slow-paced hike to the Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. This helps lung expansion and offers a panoramic view of the Stok Range we will be skirting. Afternoon at leisure in Leh Market. Meals: B, D | Stay: Hotel

Day 03: Bicycle to Nurla (3,100m) Distance: 65km | Terrain: Scenic Tarmac. A high-speed ride following the Indus River downstream. We pass the Magnetic Hill and Basgo Fort.

Day 04: Bicycle to Tarchit (Wanla) Distance: 40km | Terrain: Steep Climbs & Gravel. We head toward the “Moonland” landscapes. This is a technical day with significant elevation changes as we enter the Wanla Valley.

Day 05: Hike to Hinju (3,750m) Duration: 4 Hours. We transition to foot. A gentle trek through the Ripchar Valley to the small village of Hinju.

Day 06: Hike to Sumdha Phu via Konski La (4,950m) Duration: 8 Hours | Distance: 14km. The most challenging trekking day. A steep ascent to Konski La for a view of the Karakoram Range, followed by a descent into the hidden Sumdha Valley.

Day 07: Hike to Lanak Base Duration: 6 Hours. Trek through high-altitude meadows frequented by Blue Sheep (Bharal) and local nomadic herders.

Day 08: Lanak to Chilling via Dung Dung Chan La (4,430m) Duration: 7 Hours. The final pass crossing. A steep descent into Chilling, famous for its traditional copper smiths.

Day 09: Rafting Chilling to Nymo The grand finale. A 3-hour white-water run on the Zanskar River. Return to Leh
